The Red Ghost invades the gaming scene again? This time, it's here to push for "GTA 6" even more! The largest and most influential gaming event in Europe, Gamescom, officially concluded today after a 5-day run. This year's Gamescom had 1,220 exhibitors from 63 countries, and its attention surpassed previous years. After all, with E3, one of the world's largest gaming events, no longer taking place, the pressure naturally fell on the other two gaming expos. And this year's Gamescom didn't disappoint, with a flurry of announcements about various AAA titles, including "Starfield," "Psychonauts 2," and "Call of Duty 20." The game "Black Myth: Wukong" in the field of game science also amazed players from around the world. Apart from these AAA titles, another major highlight of this year's Gamescom was the presence of Geoff Keighley as the host. Geoff Keighley is no stranger to many, a well-known figure in the gaming industry, and the creator of "The Game Awards," often dubbed the Oscars of the gaming world. With Geoff Keighley hosting this year's Summer Game Fest, Gamescom, and the upcoming Game Awards at the end of the year, he's been extremely busy throughout the year. Of course, this is necessary as the entire gaming industry is facing challenges. Those deeply involved in the industry have to take the lead in doing something about it. Geoff Keighley's involvement has indeed increased the excitement surrounding Gamescom. However, his addition came with an unexpected incident during the opening ceremony on the first day. Let's go back to the early hours of August 23rd when Gamescom's opening night started with a performance of the theme song of "Starfield" and a new trailer. Following that, it was supposed to be Geoff Keighley's turn to take the stage and invite game director Todd Howard to discuss the new content for "Starfield." But an uninvited guest interrupted the proceedings. A mysterious player took the stage during Geoff Keighley's introduction, after the "Starfield" trailer was played, and loudly shouted, "GTA 6! I and Bill Clinton both want to play GTA 6!" Amplifying this with Geoff Keighley's microphone, the security personnel quickly removed the uninvited guest from the stage, and some of the audience responded with boos. Geoff Keighley expressed his disappointment, as this incident disrupted the expectations of players looking forward to the unknown game. Setting aside the fact that this player demanded information about "GTA 6," which Rockstar Games hasn't released any news about for a long time, what does this have to do with Bill Clinton? In fact, players who watched last year's Game Awards may recall a similar incident. After "Elden Ring" won the Game of the Year award, its producer, Hidetaka Miyazaki, was giving his acceptance speech when a mysterious young man took the microphone and said something like, "The Game of the Year should go to the reformist orthodox Jewish Bill Clinton." Coincidentally, the host of the show was Geoff Keighley. Unlike last year's Game Awards, Geoff Keighley had a plan to deal with the unexpected situation at Gamescom's opening ceremony. He attempted to keep his distance from the uninvited guest and moved the microphone, waiting for security personnel to handle the situation. Clearly, the uninvited guest at Gamescom was attempting a poorly executed imitation of the "Red Litten Invasion" incident from last year's Game Awards. After media reports and deep investigations by netizens, it was discovered that this player who demanded information about "GTA 6" had a history of two similar incidents before. As far back as 2021, this mysterious man appeared on a German variety show called "Beat the Star." At that time, the show was hosted by Alexander Duszat, who had provided German voiceovers for "Halo 3." He introduced himself in front of the camera, saying, "I'm Taser," and inquired about the whereabouts of "GTA 6," which he had been waiting for for eight years. However, the host did not fall for Taser's lead and cleverly evaded the question by saying he hadn't even finished "GTA 5." Taser was promptly asked to leave the program. Then, just two days before the opening of Gamescom this year, the self-proclaimed "Taser" appeared on a German sports talk show called "2 Out of 1." After intruding on the show, he once again inquired about "GTA 6." However, this time, Taser didn't escape unscathed; he was drenched with water by one of the show's irritable participants. Seeing his enthusiasm extinguished, Taser quickly left the show. If Taser's intrusion in 2021 could be attributed to his love for a game that hadn't seen a new release in many years, some players might have understood his frustration. However, repeatedly causing disruptions on TV shows and events was a clear sign of his impure motivations. He wasn't interested in advocating for games but was merely seeking attention. Many people were extremely displeased with Taser's actions, as they negatively affected the perception of the gaming community's behavior. Furthermore, Taser's imitation target, "Red Litten," is named Matan Even, a notorious "political activist" on the internet. Back in 2019, he snatched the host's microphone at Blizzard's annual celebration, shouting right-wing slogans. This year, he even attempted to approach Twitch's top streamer, xQc. Such extreme individuals are unlikely to have good intentions, and in this day and age, people with ambitions of "going viral" are capable of anything. The fact that the same person disrupted events three times raises serious security concerns, both at large offline expos and various TV variety programs. Luckily, his intention on stage was merely to push for information on a game, and he didn't engage in any violent behavior. However, what if he had carried a weapon when he went on stage? The consequences would have been unimaginable! After these several incidents, it's hoped that official measures will be put in place to handle unexpected situations. Damage to the gaming community's reputation is a small concern compared to the potential gravity of a life-threatening event. Still, in the end, the question remains: When will "GTA 6" be released?
